This was my first book that I read from this author and I am blown away. This was a spectacularly, beautifully written book that I have read in a long time. I was captivated by this story from the very first page. Ms. Grace knows how to draw a reader in and keep them engaged throughout the entire book. There was not one place in this book where the story faltered or slowed down. It was fast paced, but just fast enough to keep the story flowing expertly. “Broken Souls” is an absolutely gut-wrenching story. Ms. Grace engages you into this wonderfully warped and dark world, you become vulnerable and invested in these characters. This story will tear you open, rip your heart out, leave you bloody and raw and then pour salt on those wounds. In all my years of reading, I have never encountered a story that has left me is vulnerable and shaken up. The epic, mind blowing twist will literally leave you speechless. “Broken Souls” is an impeccably written tale that will stay with you for a long time. I will definitely be reading more, if not all, of Ms. Grace’s works.

Awesome book! Love all of Evans books and can’t wait for more!
WOW. That’s all I have. This book managed to suck me in, chew me up, twist me around, then spit me out. I did NOT expect the twist at the end, even though I kept waiting for something like it. This story was fantastically written and is worth the read, even for people who think it’s not for them. Trust me. Read it.
I have never read a book by this author but I am thrilled that I did.

This book was absolutely amazing. However, I'm not sure why I find it amazing. Everyone loves a story about revenge and forgiveness. Everyone loves a HEA.
Not everything is what you believe. Sometimes HEA is different than what you determine to be HEA. It blindsides you with a breath taking twist that you will not see coming. It will leave you a blubbering mess and you not even knowing exactly why.
Brylee is a damaged, sad shell of a girl because of something that happened when she was a teenager. She has blamed herself & can never forgive herself for what happened.

Chase as a teenager had a great & happy life, popular & can have any girl he wants. Then something happens that shatters his world & he blames Brylee for everything that happened.

Years have passed & Brylee has to return home because her father had a heart attack. She plans on laying low & avoiding people but who does she run into - Chase, of course. What happens after is a whirlwind of events that pulls you right into the story. You feel for Brylee, & you understand why Chase is the way he is. In the end does he end up forgiving her & helping her live again, or does he continue to blame her for what happened?

I was hooked, reading it all day & my feelings were all over the place then BAM....that ending!!

This is quite different from all of Evan Grace’s other books. Some will like it, some will not. I enjoyed it because it was a twist I didn’t see coming. I wanted a different HEA but this works too.
This is the first book that I have read by Evan Grace. Brylee’s story is sad but compelling. In a split second she takes her eyes off the road to hear and feel a sickening thud on her car - it is the younger brother of her crush Chase, at high school. Brylee is grief stricken, she leaves her hometown and after some years she returns on vacation to visit her family. Chase sees her and exacts his revenge - he kidnaps her, holds her captive in his basement. Chase belongs to a bikie club and the leader of his club discovers Brylee tied up in the basement, he talks Chase into releasing her and as time progresses Brylee and Chase fall for each other. I loved this story up until the end when things change in a way that I never saw happening. I thought this was an epic read, soo good but I was blindsided at the end. Highly recommend this book though it wasn’t the ending I expected - it is a must read!

If I had known the ending was going to be so craptastic, I would've never read it. It didn't have what I consider a HEA.
I never write reviews but the ending was so horrible that I decided to write one. The main characters had found redemption and a happy ending until Chase suddenly strangles Brylee and then he kills himself and everything was made up in her head. I wish I never wasted money on this book and I'll probably never read anything from this author again.
